Mr. Bily Ng (Ng Yu Kit) is a Consultant of Tung, Ng, Tse & Lam, Solicitors. A Hong Kong solicitor (2005) and England & Wales solicitor (2008, non‑practising), Billy brings two decades of business‑side legal leadership as an in‑house General Counsel and external advisor to industrial, manufacturing, technology and trading companies. He also leads Legalmapp Limited, through which he manages complex contracts and transactions for clients; all disputes and formal legal opinions are conducted under the firm’s platform at Tung, Ng, Tse & Lam.

Positioned as a business‑savvy General Counsel, former legal headhunter, and experienced employment and corporate governance adviser, Billy focuses on turning legal advice into practical playbooks for founders, management teams and boards. His core work spans contract drafting and negotiation, executive and employment matters, corporate governance, M&A and strategic transactions, regulatory compliance, IP protection and licensing, and risk management. Trilingual in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, he drafts and negotiates in all three (Traditional and Simplified Chinese). Drawing on his prior headhunting work for leading law firms and corporates, Billy brings insider understanding of market terms, executive dynamics and team design—an advantage in sensitive negotiations, executive transitions and building effective legal and compliance functions.

Before joining the firm, Billy served as:

• Co‑Founder & Director, Hoceans Limited and Legalmapp Limited, building an “external legal department” model that coordinates multi‑jurisdictional counsel and allied professionals to deliver cost‑disciplined, execution‑focused support; he has also handled confidential legal translations for blue‑chip clients.


• General Counsel and corporate management roles across Madhead (HK/Taiwan), Johnson Electric and Noble Group, where he led legal and strategy functions for high‑growth tech, global manufacturing and commodities trading businesses. His work covered scaling teams and governance frameworks, enterprise‑critical supply and platform agreements, global T&Cs, IP and patent portfolio oversight, cross‑border structuring and tax considerations, and the management of substantial international contracting and dispute portfolios across the US, Europe and APAC.
